An Invitation to join El Paraiso Golf Club
The very essence of El Paraiso is that in addition to having an excellent golf course, it is truly a Members golf club . Many social activities directly follow our weekly, monthly and annual competitions. We know members join EPGC from other clubs firstly because we have a course to be envied, and, secondly, because of the 'inclusiveness' and good value of our social events, from the occasional quiz night to the glamour of the New Year's Eve Ball.
Hardly a week goes by without some form of socializing. At the weekly Sunday afternoon Scramble, where teams are selected to balance good and not so good golfers; the chatter and good-natured banter on the terrace allows the whole club to mix. As a new member at El Paraiso, getting to know your fellow members is an easy and speedy exercise .
Six major social events are held each year, added to which there are two week-long festivals of golf which always climax with a celebration dinner or candle-lit barbecue, and the opportunity to dance the night away to some of the best music on the Costa. Add to this an eclectic mix of smaller events throughout the year and you can see that the clubhouse is fully utilised.
Whether you are a scratch golfer or stuck on a rather higher mark, shy or gregarious, you are sure to be welcomed and will be quickly drawn into the flow of the club and a share of the generous good nature that is El Paraiso Golf Club .
There are many competitions organised for members , and many find there is no necessity to reserve separate tee times - simply put your name on the entry list.

How do I join El Paraiso Golf Club
El Paraiso Golf Club S.A. is a wholly
owned subsidiary of a Gibraltar company El Paraiso Golf Holdings
Ltd.
El Paraiso Golf Club is owned and operated by El Paraiso Golf Club
S.A., a Spanish registered company.
El Paraiso Golf Holdings Ltd. (EPGH) has 750 authorized shares,
of which 501 have been issued. To become a member of El Paraiso
Golf Club you must firstly buy a share in the holding company EPGH.
This share can be purchased on the open market and the Golf Director
will advise telephone numbers of current sellers. This share entitles
you to apply for one membership in El Paraiso Golf Club. Since there
are currently 501 shares issued in EPGH, the purchase gives each
share-owner one 501 of the golf club. All share prices fluctuate
and ours reached a peak in 2003 of 28,000 pounds sterling, the current
price now is 14,950 euros, including share, transfer and entrance
fee.
Once a share has been purchased and an application form completed,
you will undergo a brief interview and your references will be checked.
Then you will be invited to join the club. With immediate effect
the ENTRY FEE for new Shareholders joining El Paraiso Golf Club
has been reduced from 10.000 Euros in 2008 to 5.000 Euros (+IVA).
In addition, new members may pay their Entry Fee in three separate
instalments of 1.667 Euros. The second instalment will become due
for payment on 1st January in the year following the first payment.
Likewise the final payment will be due on 1st January in the second
year following the first payment.
'There are two forms of annual membership - 'Full Membership' which
allows unlimited rounds of golf for only 1,393 Euros per annum (2010
rate) or an 'Overseas Membership' which suits the regular visitor
and allows you to play up to 25 rounds per year for only 697 Euros
per annum (2010 rate). Additional rounds are available at a reduced
price.
Very few resale shares become available so don't hesitate. It could
be the best purchase you have ever made.
