WHITE TEE COMPETITION
The "White Tees" is a Club competition, organised by the Club for mainly lower handicap golfers. It takes place on a Saturday afternoon and is normally a pairs scramble. The entry fee is currently 5 euros per player and players MAY choose their own partners. New members and those without a partner are very welcome. All entry monies are distributed in prizes, the number of which is dependent on the number of entrants. The entry sheet goes up a week before the event and the draw showing the pairings and timings is posted on the preceding Friday.
Eligibility for entry:
Members
Members must have a valid Spanish handicap. This currently means that a minimum of 3 qualifying cards have been submitted in 2011.
Member's Guests
The introducing member is responsible for his guest and has to ensure that he has a current valid handicap, as per the Club constitution.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome subject to tee availability and must be able to produce evidence of their handicap if requested
Professionals
Professionals are allowed to enter subject to the Board's policy and will be given a notional handicap by the organiser of the competition.
NB Competitors from overseas will not be eligible for slope.
The maximum individual handicap is 18 and the handicap allowance is 3/8 of the combined slope handicap with a maximum of 12 shots for a pair. Handicaps may be adjusted by the Club in accordance with EGA guidelines.
The Committee reserves the right to modify any of these conditions.
